MegaFood Women's One Daily is a one-tablet multivitamin with 9 mg iron per serving. The 60-tablet bottle is a practical option if you want a lower pill count and supplemental iron is appropriate. It is not iron-free, vegan or a substitute for a prenatal or a treatment plan for iron deficiency.

Check other multivitamins and iron supplements before combining them. Keep iron-containing tablets away from children.

## When the one-tablet format makes sense

A one-tablet routine is its clearest convenience advantage over multivitamins that require several capsules. It does not make this formula nutritionally better for everyone. The iron content, nutrient forms and actual gaps in your diet matter more than the word "women" on the bottle.

If your clinician has advised an iron-free product, this is not the right match. If you have diagnosed low iron, 9 mg in a multivitamin should not be assumed to be your treatment dose. The [with-versus-without-iron guide](https://supplementexplained.com/compare/womens-multivitamin-with-vs-without-iron/) explains the choice without treating every woman as having the same requirement.

## Which formula are you buying?

Women's One Daily, Advanced multivitamins, age-specific formulas and prenatals are separate products. MegaFood's current page confirms one tablet, 9 mg iron and a 275 mg food blend. It also explains that the standard One Daily is not its methylated Advanced formula.

HerbsPro's text includes a longer food and herb list than the current manufacturer description. Do not assume every ingredient in that retailer text is in the current bottle. Compare the Supplement Facts and other-ingredient panel on the version being shipped; request a current label from the seller if it is unclear.

The manufacturer identifies this product as vegetarian rather than vegan. Someone avoiding all animal-derived ingredients should choose an explicitly vegan formula instead of inferring that status from "real food" branding.

## What the extra ingredients do not establish

A multivitamin can help fill certain dietary gaps. The [NIH multivitamin guidance](https://ods.od.nih.gov/factsheets/MVMS-Consumer/) does not describe it as a replacement for a varied diet. More nutrients, a food blend or fermentation language do not by themselves demonstrate extra energy, better skin or better health from this exact product.

Calcium and magnesium are omitted from the current formula. That is a coverage difference, not a reason everyone should buy two more supplements. Review food intake and existing products before adding anything.

## Iron, biotin and medication checks

Count iron from other multivitamins or targeted iron products. Read [the multivitamin overlap guide](https://supplementexplained.com/quality/multivitamin-overlap-map/) before stacking formulas. Pregnancy or pregnancy planning needs a suitable prenatal plan; a general women's multivitamin should not be substituted automatically.

The ingredient list includes biotin, which can interfere with some laboratory tests. Tell your clinician and laboratory about it rather than using a universal stop-for-two-days rule. If you use warfarin, ask your prescriber about the vitamin K content before starting or switching multivitamins.

Iron overdose can be dangerous, especially for children. Store the bottle securely. Accidental ingestion requires immediate poison-control or medical advice, not waiting for symptoms.

## What the certifications mean

The current manufacturer displays Non-GMO Project Verified, gluten-free, Glyphosate Residue Free and vegetarian claims. These address different product characteristics. They do not establish clinical effectiveness or a contaminant-free guarantee for every lot; no lot-specific certificate was verified here.

This is a review of the published formula and practical fit, not personal use or laboratory testing. We have not assigned an editorial score to this newly reviewed product.

## Compare cost per daily serving

For this 60-tablet bottle, divide your delivered price by 60 labeled servings. Compare that number with the full daily serving of an alternative, not simply its capsule count.

[Garden of Life Vitamin Code Women](https://supplementexplained.com/products/garden-of-life-vitamin-code-women/) is a useful contrast: its reviewed 120-capsule bottle provides 30 four-capsule servings and 8.1 mg iron per serving. The formulas are different; convenience alone cannot settle the choice.

Our editorial assessment

## Supplement Explained Score

**56**/100

Women's One Daily, 60 tablets, UPC 051494101049

Five equally weighted criteria. This is an editorial assessment, not customer stars, a clinical ranking or a measure of medical effectiveness.

**Label clarity **3/5****

The 60-count package, one-tablet serving, 9 mg iron and current 275 mg food blend are identified. The retailer's longer herb list differs from the current description, and every nutrient amount in a shipped bottle is not resolved here.

**Evidence transfer **3/5****

A multivitamin can help fill selected dietary gaps. The food blend, fermentation terminology and women's positioning do not establish better health or treatment of iron deficiency with this exact tablet.

**Safety fit **3/5****

Iron suitability, accidental ingestion by children, overlapping nutrients, vitamin K with warfarin and biotin-related laboratory interference need review. This is not a prenatal substitute or an iron-deficiency treatment plan.

**Quality proof **2/5****

Manufacturer dietary and manufacturing documentation does not establish a current independently inspected finished-tablet potency/contaminant report for the purchased lot.

**Value fit **3/5****

One tablet offers a low pill burden and 60 labeled portions. The matched $37.99 listing does not establish value superiority, especially while formula differences remain unresolved.

Based on published information, not personal use or laboratory testing by us. Missing testing documentation is not evidence of contamination. Where label versions remain unresolved, the points reflect that limitation rather than assuming a complete current formula.
